Brazilian-born Pereira signs with Manchester United for 2012 season

Andreas Pereira, a 15-year-old Brazilian football player, recently announced that he would be joining Manchester United next year. The young midfielder is one of the best players in his age group, and many teams were vying to add him to their rosters, according to The Daily Mail.
"Other British clubs were interested. I thought about it, but Manchester United is a dream club for me," Pereira told reporters. "I got a tour and spoke with Sir Alex Ferguson. Being a 15-year-old and being able to talk with him is great."
Pereira moved to Europe from Brazil as a child, where he played in the youth division for Belgian team PSV, according to ESPN. While he may not live in South America anymore, sports fans may want to makes calls to Brazil to discuss the young player's decision as well as the numerous other trades that are going on.
There are loads of other players being moved around this year, including David Beckham, who has become the English figurehead of professional football. ESPN reports that his contract with Los Angeles Galaxy is almost up, and many European teams are expected to scramble to be the first to pick him up.
